FD-700 Flex-Drive 12VDC electric actuators feature a high-strength flexible slotted tape that is driven by a special matching pinion. They feature both high speed and moderate force. 

No-load speed is 6 inches/second, with load (pull) force to 50 lbs at 2 inches/second. Pinion drive provides smooth motion and allows infinite positions with inherent load holding, even without power. Travel length up to 50 feet, may be used as push and pull if used in a closed loop setup with return pulley. Shorter stroke FL-700 actuators (up to 60") feature a compact body with rewind cavity (shown).

Flex-Drive tape can be routed through tight spaces and around corners!
