Features
- 12VDC operation - Convert your standard actuator to an adjustable travel unit - No fixture-mounted limit switches or diodes required - Uses 2 track-mounted magnetic reed switches, 1 for lower and 1 for upper travel limit, mounted to the actuator tube. - The MC200 controller is the heart of the system, providing limit switch inputs, as well as adjustable current (force) limiting. Standard settings for reversing/single/dedicated control switches remain. - May be used on most standard rod type actuators, or any unit that allows for installation of the internal magnet. - Actuator prep for switch magnet required, contact us for details. - Includes: MC200 controller, (2) magnetic reed switches, mounting rail, prep of your chosen actuator (sold separately)
Setup:
1) Attach limit switch rail to actuator tube, lining the wide edge up along the actuator edge, using ds tape provided 2) Connect control switch(es) (per required control scheme) and actuator motor wires to MC200 controller 3) Insert the (2) limit switches into switch rail and connect the 2 sets of wires to the MC200 per diagram 4) Mount actuator into fixture and slide each switch to extreme position in the rail 5) Connect 12VDC power to MC200 controller per diagram 6) Activate UP switch to move actuator to desired up position and stop. Slide UP limit switch down until indicator light comes on, tighten switch screw to lock in the UP position 7) Activate DOWN switch to move actuator to desired DOWN position and stop. Slide DOWN limit switch up until indicator light comes on, tighten switch screw to lock in the DOWN position. 8) Fine-tune MC200 current limits as needed per instructions. Rough settings may need to be done prior to step 1, depending on the current settings required 9) Adjust each switch as needed to set up and down limits, down to 1/2" stroke typical.
Note: For actuators with internal limit switches, it is recommended to run between the internal limits for simplicity.
