• Single or two-button selectable- Allows user to select a momentary SPST input, two separate switches, or a SPDT/DPDT switch input.
• User selectable maintained (toggle) or momentary modes- Allows a short momentary input for continuous travel, or choose to hold the input on for motion, selectable by dip switch.
• Independent current settings via 1-turn potentiometers for adjustment of maximum force in each direction. The rough current range is set by dip switch, and the potentiometer is used to fine-tune the setting. When a preset current limit is reached, actuator will stop and await the next signal. LED indicators in each direction confirm the current limit has been reached.
• Automatic motor reversing- Once a current limit is reached or another input is received (button pressed again), the motor will stop. The next input will reverse the actuator direction.
• Limit switch inputs are now included. Users may utilize external limit switches in one or both directions. Current limiting is still active in this mode, to stop the motor in the case of a mid-stroke jam-up.
• Dynamic braking- With no power applied or direction selected, motor outputs are grounded together to assist in load holding.
• Control board is potted in an open-frame plastic box with mounting tabs.

NOTE- When used with actuators equipped with internal limit switches: If actuator is allowed to travel to shut-off type limit switch, the input button to the MC200/201 controller must be pressed twice to reverse the actuator. The first button press serves as the "stop" input to the controller (in lieu of current limit), second input will reverse the actuator. Limiting travel to "in between" the switches will simplify operation with the MC201. The controller does not recognize the actuator's internal switches as an input, as there is usually no external output available to connect to the MC201.
